Method for limiting the output of electrically driven heating circulation pumps
Electrically driven, speed-controllable heating circulation pumps, the hydraulic power field of which is limited by a maximum curve (1) in the QH field. In a first step, a maximum flow rate (Qmax) of the pump is defined. Then a maximum delivery head (H1 max) of the pump is determined based on the intersection of the maximum curve (1) with the specified maximum flow rate (Qmax). In the subsequent operation of the pump, if the actual delivery head (H) falls below the previously specified maximum delivery head (H1 max) when the specified maximum delivery flow is reached, a correspondingly lower maximum delivery head (H2 max) is set .
